She was born in Cracow. At the age of 7 she started her musical education as a violinist and continued it until the end of the secondary school. In the meantime, her passion for singing was growing. After graduating from Frederic Chopin Secondary Music School in Cracow, she obtained her master’s degree on the department of the Vocal and Acting Studies at the Academy of Music in Cracow in Prof. Izabella Jasińska-Buszewicz vocal class. Furthermore, she studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg in Prof. Ingrid Kremling-Domanski vocal class within the Erasmus programme.
Anna has been improving her skills on the numerous vocal masterclasses conducted among others by: Marek Rzepka, Dariusz Grabowski, Anna Sims, Izabela Kłosińska, Ryszard Karczykowski, Teresa Żylis-Gara, Elisabeth Wilke, Helena Łazarska, Arkadiusz Burski.
The artist is a laureate of many prestigious awards: Grand Prix at the Jan Kiepura International Vocal Competition in Krynica-Zdrój, second prize at the Polish Vocal Competition in Mława, second prize at the Imrich Godin International Vocal Competition in Vrable and the third prize at the Polish Vocal Art “Złote Głosy” Competition in Warsaw.
In 2012 Anna Wolfinger made her debut in the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic in Białystok as Hanna in The Haunted Manor by St. Moniuszko. In the same year she became a soloist opera singer in this institution. Since then she has been performing in various operas and musicals, including: J. Strauss The Bat (Adela), G. Bizet Carmen (Frasquita, Micaela), W. A. Mozart The Magic Flute, (Papagena), G. Verdi Traviata (Annina), A. Lloyd Webber The Phantom of the Opera (Carlotta), G. Ph. Telemann Pimpinone (Vespetta), J. Bock Fiddler on the Roof (Hudel), Ch. Williams Korczak (Basia).
Moreover, she started the cooperation with the Krakow Opera singing Fiorilla vocal part in Il Turco in Italia by G. Rossini in March 2016. Since December 2016 she has been also performing Norina vocal part in the Don Pasquale by G. Donizetti there. What is more, in 2019 she started cooperating with Poznan Grand Theatre, performing in G. Rossini: Il Barbiere di Siviglia – Rosina, and with the Warsaw Chamber Opera performing in St. Moniuszko: Halka (Vilnius version) – Zofia.
In addition, the artist realises oratorio and cantata repertoire as well as baroque music with great pleasure. She took part in many music festivals, including: Festival of the Baroque Operas – Dramma per musica in Warsaw, Early Arts Festival in Białystok, Wschód Kultury – Inny Wymiar Festival in Białystok, Cracovia Sacra Festival in Cracow, Jubilaei Cantus Festival in Nowy Sącz, Music and Sacrum International Festival of Chamber and Organ Music in Chrzanów-Kościelec, Wratislavia Cantans International Festival in Wrocław, Belcanto Festival in Nałęczów. Furthermore, she performed with Krakow Chamber Opera in plays such as: G. B. Pergolesi La Serva Padrona; Livietta e Tracollo, W. A. Mozart Die Schuldigkeit des ersten Gebots. Additionally, she participated in the premiere of the oratorio Oto wierny sługa mój by Hubert Kowalski and Piotr Pałka.
